<p>Thymosin beta-4 is a small polypeptide whose exact physiological role is notyet known [<cite idref="PUB00003563"/>]. It was first isolated as a thymic hormone that induces terminal deoxynucleotidyltransferase. It is found in high quantity in thymus and spleen but is widely distributed in many tissues.
